Empire Pass Deer Valley communities: a map of named lodges under one address
Most searches treat Empire Pass as one market. It isn’t. Listings say “Empire Pass, Deer Valley” as if it were one product. It is a high-alpine cluster on Flagstaff / Empire Canyon / Lady Morgan, generally along Empire Club Drive, Village Way, and Marsac Avenue, with separate buildings and plats that do not share one HOA, one amenity stack, or one ski-to-door path.
Deer Valley’s own Empire Pass lodging page is the public map of named properties. Talisker Club’s maps add Red Cloud and the Tower / Empire Pass clubhouse. Broker “20 communities” lists exist. Deer Valley’s public lodging page does not publish a count of 20 — leave “20” as a broker shorthand, not an official figure.
East Village is now a second Deer Valley base, so “Deer Valley address” is no longer synonymous with Empire Pass / Silver Lake / Snow Park. This post maps the original upper-mountain cluster. If the listing says Empire Pass, ask which building and which lift. Flagstaff is not Argent. Red Cloud is not Shooting Star. You are buying a specific plat — not “the Empire Pass lifestyle.”

Named properties on Deer Valley’s own page
From the Empire Pass Area lodging page, named ski-in/ski-out (conditions permitting) properties include:
- Silver Strike Lodge — 8902 Empire Club Drive
- The Grand Lodge — 8777 Marsac Avenue (page: steps from Northside Express). Official copy: 3–6 bedroom residences, common hot tubs, ski locker, ski valet, steam, fitness, concierge.
- Flagstaff Lodge — 8894 Empire Club Drive (page: Silver Strike Express outside the door; The Pub; soaking pool)
- One Empire Pass — 8910 Empire Club Drive (page: 27 private residences, 2–4 bedrooms, adjacent to Silver Strike Express)
- Argent at Empire Pass — 7677 Village Way (page: base of Silver Strike Express; bowling alley, skydeck, etc. — building amenities, not a neighborhood amenity)
- Shooting Star — 7715 Village Way
- Arrowleaf Lodge (page: two alpine lodges, 2–3 bedroom residences)
Deer Valley: “Many properties with ski-in/ski-out access, such as Argent, Flagstaff, The Grand Lodge, Shooting Star and Arrowleaf Lodge.” Access is building-specific and conditions permitting — leave “nearly all ski-in/ski-out” off the page.
Lift context on the same official page: Northside Express and Silver Strike Express on Flagstaff Mountain; Ruby Express and Empire Express in Empire Canyon; Lady Morgan Express on Lady Morgan Mountain. Dining named: Empire Canyon Grill, Fireside Dining; also dine at Montage Deer Valley.
Resort-managed residences: complimentary in-resort/town shuttle via Empire Express App. Free Park City Transit from Empire Canyon Lodge — confirm on the transit page.
Housing types you can name from official pages: lodge-style condominiums (Flagstaff, Shooting Star, Arrowleaf, Silver Strike, Argent, One Empire Pass, Grand Lodge). Estate / custom homes exist in the corridor; Red Cloud is the official named example on Talisker maps. Montage Deer Valley is a hotel-residence landmark in the same upper-mountain geography. Confirm hotel condo vs. whole-ownership per listing.
Broker maps float extra names (Bannerwood, Empire Residences, Ironwood Townhomes, Larkspur, Moonshadow, Nakoma, Northside Village, Paintbrush, Residences at the Tower, Sommet Blanc, The Belles) — confirm on a recorded plat or official page before you treat them as part of the cluster.

Club overlay vs building HOA
Talisker Club describes the Empire Pass clubhouse as the only ski-in/ski-out private club at Empire Pass in Deer Valley Resort. Official maps label Red Cloud. Hot Creek Cabin was listed as winter 2026 between Red Cloud and Montage. The club is a membership overlay, not a substitute for building HOAs. Whether Talisker membership is required on every Empire Pass deed is unverified at the cluster level — confirm in writing for that unit.
Expect building association + possible master association. Any transfer-fee percentage belongs on recorded covenants — confirm there. Dues fund different amenity stacks per building — a Shooting Star hot tub is not a Grand Lodge steam room. Pull that building’s packet.

Short contrast: this cluster vs East Village
Empire Pass is the established upper-mountain cluster. East Village is the new US-40 portal still phasing hotels and lodges — see Deer Valley’s June 29, 2026 update for Hail Peak / East Village timing. Same resort-wide pass; different door.
Empire Pass owners ski the same bigger mountain as the rest of Deer Valley this winter — they don’t live in East Village.
How to read the listing
Ask which building and which lift. A Shooting Star hot tub is not a Grand Lodge steam room. Red Cloud is not Flagstaff. You are buying a specific plat under a shared Deer Valley upper-mountain address.
Comparing Flagstaff, Argent, or another named lodge? I can match a specific Empire Pass listing to the official lodging page, the lift named in that copy, and the association packet for that building — without treating “Empire Pass” as one address.
